My journey into holistic health began in the Pacific Northwest, where I grew up eating the Standard American Diet—a lifestyle I later passed on to my own kids.
Like many, I was part of the low-fat/no-fat era, paired with an obsession for cardio workouts. Back then, I thought I was doing everything right. But I’ve always been someone who seeks the “why” behind everything—a forever learner, constantly striving to understand and do my best. My perspective on health took a
transformative turn when our youngest son, Alex, was diagnosed with cancer at just 15 years old.
That diagnosis turned our world upside down and ignited my unwavering dedication to holistic health and wellness. The doctors couldn’t pinpoint the cause of Alex’s illness and didn’t offer any guidance on nutrition. I realized then how much more there was to learn about the connection between what we eat and how our bodies function.
That journey inspired me to dive deep into understanding how we are meant to eat—the way our bodies were evolved to thrive. Today, I’m on a mission to help families cut through the noise and marketing tactics of the food industry to find their way back to true health with real, wholefoods.
I believe in addressing the root causes of health issues because it’s never just one thing. Healing is a journey, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach or single answer to wellness.
My work is grounded in five main foundations of health, which I believe are essential for achieving whole-body wellness. These foundations are rooted in the idea that our bodies are divinely designed to thrive when given the proper support.
As a wife of 34 years and a mom who raised three incredible kids, I know the challenges of balancing family life with making healthy choices.
I’m here to empower you to nourish your family with confidence, helping you create a lifestyle that supports vibrant health without overwhelm or guilt.
Together, we can cut through the confusion, focus on what truly matters, and build a foundation for lifelong wellness.
Let’s simplify the journey to health—one step, one meal, and one day at a time. Because real health starts with real food, and it’s your God-given right to feel your best.
